Welcome to carbon crates LLC! These Terms of Service govern the use of our reusable moving crates and moving supplies company. By renting or purchasing our crates and/or other moving supplies from us, you as the renter agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
carbon crates LLC provides reusable moving crates for rent and other moving supplies for rent or purchase to customers. The Service includes delivery and pickup of crates as per the rental agreement.
2. Rental Agreement
2.1 Rental agreement
Carbon crates llc agrees to supply crates and/or other moving supplies in fully serviceable condition. The Customer must check the Equipment against delivery manifests or invoices and notify carbon crates llc of any shortage or damage within 24 hours of delivery. In the absence of any such notification the Customer will be deemed to be satisfied with the quantity and condition of the Equipment, and that it is suitable for the purpose required. The Customer further acknowledges that it accepts and uses all equipment from the Company for its intended use. Use of the equipment includes the packing and relocation of Customer contents within an office, home, school or similar institution. Under no circumstances should the equipment be used in any illegal manner or to transport hazardous materials, reptiles, plants, animals or other items that would be deemed illegal by local, state or federal authorities.
2.2 rental period
The standard rental period is 7 days, starting from the day the customer receives the crates. Extensions can be requested and are subject to additional fees.
2.3 Rental Fees
The rental fees are as specified at the time of booking. Full payment is required upon reservation of the crates and supplies the customer is renting and/or purchasing. By submitting Payment by credit card, the customer acknowledges that their credit card information will be collected and charged for the rental services provided prior to delivery.
2.4 Delivery and Pickup
carbon crates llc will deliver and pick up the crates/moving supplies at the customer’s specified addresses during the requested rental period. The customer grants carbon crates LLC the right to enter the property at the delivery address and the pick up address at the specified time discussed between carbon crates llc and the customer. the customer must ensure the crates are ready for pick up on the agreed upon pick up date.
2.5 Geographic Coverage
our delivery and pickup services are free within a 20 mile radius of Minneapolis. Additional charges may apply for areas outside our standard service region.
3. Customer Responsibilities
3.1 Care and Use of Crates
the customer agrees to use the crates for moving purposes only and to take reasonable care of them. Crates must not be modified, damaged, or used for purposes other than moving. if the customer is interested in using our crates for storage, the customer may contact us to learn more about our capabilities.
3.2 Damage or Loss
the customer is responsible for any damage to or loss of the crates during the rental period that is outside of normal wear and tear. Damage will be assessed and is determined by carbon crates llc. A fee of $20.00 will be charged for each damaged or lost crate.
3.3 Return Condition
Crates must be returned clean and in good condition to a carbon crates llc employee. Additional cleaning fees may apply if crates are returned dirty. in addition, a $2.00 per label/crate fee will be charged for each label not removed from our crates.
4. Cancellations, Refunds, and additional charges
4.1 Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the delivery date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery will incur a restocking fee that is 50% of the total reservation cost.
4.2 Refunds
Refunds for unused rental days or unused crates are not provided. If carbon crates llc fails to deliver the crates as agreed, the customer is entitled to a full refund for the undelivered items.
4.3 additional charges
in the event that there is no one available to accept the delivery at the agreed upon time, there will be a $75.00 fee to re-deliver the order. In the event the crates and/or other moving supplies are not ready for pick up at the agreed upon time, a $75.00 late fee shall be automatically imposed plus daily charges according to pricing structure shall be incurred each day until the crates and/or moving supplies are returned to carbon crates LLC.
5. Liability and Indemnity
5.1 Limitation of Liability
carbon crates llc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages with respect to or arising out of or in conjunction with the crates and/or moving supplies. carbon crates LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INJURIES TO PERSONS OR PROPERTy RESULTING FROM customer’s USE, STORAGE, TRANSPORTATION OR OPERATION OF THE crates and/or moving supplies offered by carbon crates llc.
5.2 Indemnity
the customer agrees to indemnify and hold carbon crates llc harmless from any claims, damages, injuries, or expenses arising from the customer’s use of the crates and/or moving supplies or breach of these Terms.
6. Termination
carbon crates llc reserves the right to terminate or suspend the customer’s access to the Service for any violation of these Terms without notice.
7. Privacy Policy
the customer’s use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how carbon crates llc collects, uses, and protects the customer’s personal information.
8. Changes to Terms
carbon crates llc may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website, and the customer’s continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of minnesota. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of minnesota / hennepin county.
